2023 Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep brand is synonymous with off-roading, exceptional style, and versatility. The Jeep Gladiator is renowned for its extreme off-roading capabilities. The 2023 Jeep Gladiator offers buyers a roomy cabin, decent hauling capabilities, and a functional bed configuration. This truck is as much home in the wilderness as it is in the city, just like its Wrangler sibling.
The top Mojave trim is designed to satisfy any off-roader’s dream. This truck slices through soft sand surfaces and easily climbs the most uneven and rugged rocks. The Mojave stands proud as the receiver of the Desert Rated badge. Fuel efficiency is now maximized with the inclusion of lighter high-strength aluminum doors, tailgate, fenders, and windshield frame.
This truck maximizes outdoor driving pleasure as the only truck in this segment with a windshield that folds downwards, a soft top, and removable doors.
Models and Pricing
The Gladiator in 2023 is expected to be available in four models: the Mojave (top of the line), the Rubicon, the Overland, and the Sport (entry-level). Pricing has not yet been released. Engine and Performance
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, Overland, and Sport trims will be available in the standard V6 Pentastar 3.6-litre engine (260 lb-ft of torque and 285 horsepower) with a choice between a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
You have the option to upgrade all three trims to the V6 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine if you need more off-roading power. The Mojave trim will only be available in the V6 3.6-litre eight-speed automatic configuration. The V6 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine is capable of producing significantly more power. You can look forward to 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.
The turbodiesel engine equipped as standard in the Mojave can handle greater torque loads with the ESS and low calibrated RPM shifts. The Gladiator also performs very well when it comes to hauling capabilities. You’ll be able to tow a maximum load of 3492kg and carry a maximum payload of 775.6kg.
Technology and Safety
The Sport trim has an eight-speaker sound system, a 17.78cm touchscreen, mobile phone integration, voice command capabilities, cruise control, and a USB port. The Overland has additional upgrades, including an Alpine nine-speaker sound system, a 21.33cm touchscreen, a navigation system, and USB ports in the rear.
Available safety driver aids include a camera, a forward collision warning and mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system, and parking sensors in the rear.
